Yes. VUMA-network can be used for general ventilation network purposes, by using the tunnel branch as a general duct.
What makes VUMA different from other ventilation packages?
VUMA-network has a wide range of specialized branches for the mining industry, like stopes and development headings, to incorporate realistic heat loads in the ventilation network. VUMA-network assumes compressible flow and solves airflow, heat and contaminant distributions interactively with full thermodynamic calculations. VUMA-network has proven to accurately model underground atmospheric conditions in deep hot mines.

The chance is good that other users may have come across similar modeling scenarios and in this way users can advise one-another on modeling techniques.
