VUMA - Transient

VUMA-transient is a time-dependent air and heat flow simulator. The effects of step changes in ventilation and cooling systems are modelled throughout a network ventilation path. Time-varying concentrations of dust and gas contaminants can also be included in the transient simulation process. Applications of VUMA-transient include the design of emergency evacuation strategies as part of a mine’s emergency response plan, and the active control of ventilation fans and thermal storage systems for mine cooling.
